Christmas is coming!

Why not come along to a craft session from 10:30am to 12:30pm on Saturday 2nd, 9th or 16th December to help us decorate the library for Christmas? It’s free to attend, materials are provided and you can take your creations home.

A celebration of chemistry

Quorn Library is very excited to be offering chemistry workshops for primary school children in November. This is supported by a grant from the Royal Society of Chemistry to celebrate chemistry week.

This year’s theme is: Chemistry making the world a better place.

There will be lots of hands-on experiments exploring different ways of making clean energy.

Dates:

Saturday 4th November 1:30 – 2:30

Saturday 11th November 1:30 – 2:30

Saturday 25th November 1:30 – 2:30

Sessions must be pre-booked by calling into the Library. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The reading group meet on the last Thursday of the month between 11 and 12.

There is no meeting in December.
