British Science Week
Quorn Community Library is celebrating British Science Week in a number of different ways:
- Book Display of Science Books
- Free Chemistry Workshops- please book at the desk
- Treasure hunt about careers for chemists
- A competition titled “My Favourite Experiment”
This will all take place between 27th February to 13th March
A Celebration of British Science Week
Quorn Community Library is also very excited to be offering free chemistry workshops for primary school children in March, this is supported by a grant from the Royal Society of Chemistry.
The theme is:

There will be chemistry workshops with lots of hands-on experiments: –

In the Main Hall, The Old School, School Lane Quorn How: Session must be pre booked. Each child must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.
