Join us for a fun morning, and if you’re already in the Summer Reading Challenge Read to the Beat, we’ll be making instruments to keep the beat.

Pop in to sign up to the challenge and book your place on a craft morning, too.

The music themed Summer Reading Challenge 2026

With a fantastic collection of books inspired by music from around the world, children can explore stories, poetry, graphic novels & non fiction.

Best of all, books are FREE to borrow from your local library. As part of the National Year of Reading, we are encouraging families to make reading part of their summer adventures.

Children can sign up at the library or online, set their reading goals & enjoy rewards along the way.
